There are a number of things that differentiates us from ‘cheaper’ hosting companies with the main one being service. For us, customers are not just about making money it’s about helping their business be as competitive and successful as possible. It’s a philosophy that affects every aspect of the way we deal with customers. Earning money from that is for us, a side effect, albeit a good one.. This may sound strange to people, but we are not interested in being a large multinational business, sure we need to earn a living but for us there is a difference between that and being greedy. Our business model puts a cap on the number of customers we can service for two main reasons. Firstly, too many customers and the service levels for each customer falls, in other words we spread ourselves too thin. Secondly, we have lives, yes as strange as that may sound, we don’t want to be working 18 hours a day. At present we have not reached that cap, so we can comfortably look after more customers without sacrificing our service levels.
Having mentioned service levels above, it is not uncommon for us to not hear from customers for months even sometimes years. Why? because the systems we have just work. Usually once a customer is up and running things just work. We are always here if a customer has issues but usually they just get on with running their business and that’s how things should be. Finally we only advertise in the yellow pages. The vast majority of our customers come to us by word of mouth. If you are reading this then someone has more than likely sent you here.
